Smarter way to design your content
Today’s evening I was mulling over alignment of content on friend’s portfolio. After some failed iterations he was near giving up. But, as you propably guessed, you wouldn’t read this if we hadn’t managed to success. It’s all thanks to the brilliant idea that came up by accident.
Write down every single line of text of your future site in one Word (or some more open text editor :) ) file. Start dividing it into blocks of semantically similar pages. Next, think of colligations between them, propose call to actions. Now, you should be comfortable with setting design goals.
Of course, it took a lot of time, but it’s worth it! You can easily hack your brain and destroy creativity block. Moreover, you’ll propably end up with much better copy, which means better conversion rates.
